A passenger jet has safely made an emergency landing at Mogadishu ’s external airport after an explosion pierce a orotund hole in its fuselage .
Two people were injured and unverified reports claim that a someone may have fallen out of the hole during the incident , which happen above Somalia . A policemantold the Associated Pressthat “ residents [ of a nearby town ] had found the utter body of an old man who might have fallen from a plane . ”
The explosion occur during the takeoff phase of flight of stairs , and the craftiness had not yet contact 30,000 feet . The pilot of the Airbus A321spoke to the newspaper Blicand explain :
I think it was a turkey . Luckily , the flight controls were not damage so I could return and land at the drome . Something like this has never happened in my flying career . We lost atmospheric pressure in the cabin . give thanks God it ended well .
Meanwhile , the APreportsthat Somalia ’s civil aviation authority has “ notice no evidence so far of a criminal act . ” air power expert have told the news wire that the hole is likely consistent with either a pressurization blowout or a bomb . The true reason remains unknown .
Investigators have relocated the aircraft to a private hangar where it is being inspect .
