Camila Cabello is finally addressing the photos of her seemingly vacationing withDrake.
In a sneak peek of her appearance onAlex Cooper’sCall Her Daddypodcast dropping on Wednesday, the “Bam Bam” singer, 27, opened up about thebuzzworthy photosof her jet skiing with the rapper in Turks and Caicos in December. The two were also spotted smiling and having an animated conversation while lounging on a yacht around the same time.
“You were on a vacation… with Drake,” Cooper says to Cabello in theInstagram Reel. With a smile, the singer responds, “Oh gosh," before adding, “It was a vacation plus some work.”
Cabello then slips in a cheeky wink and the podcast host says, “Oh? Oh.” The pair immediately burst out laughing.
While the teaser doesn’t show her providing additional details about the tropical getaway, she does admit, “I don’t really do stuff like this,” referring to spilling secrets about her personal life.
In the clip, she also talks about her first love, red flags in a relationship, and how she’s “a fan” of getting back with an old flame if it feels right. The latter prompts Cooper to bring up Cabello’s exShawn Mendes, 25. They were spotted on multiple occasions together in 2023, leading fans to believe they had rekindled their on-and-off romance.
“It looked to the world like you and your ex Shawn Mendes kind of dabbled with the idea of getting back together,” Cooper says, to which Cabello admits, “Yeah.” When Cooper asks what happened there, Cabello takes a breath and the video abruptly ends.

After nearly two years of dating, Mendes and Cabello officially called it quits in Nov. 2021. They broke the news to fans in a shared statement posted to their Instagram Stories at the time.
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever,” the statement said at the time. “We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward ❤️❤️❤️ Camila and Shawn.”
