On such days , when I ’m the guilty party , I feel rather daft . Like , how could I have missed / forgotten / not known THAT ? bright , witty David feels more like Daft Dave , which got me cogitate " ¦ what if I make the mistakes right upfront and get you guys fix " ˜em in a fall back lineament ?
So welcome to Daft Dave ’s debut . Today I messed up Lincoln ’s famous Gettysburg Address from 1764 , er , I mean 1863 , of course .

I ’m not go to tell you how many misapprehension I made copying the 271 word of honor speech into this post , but there are some typos , as well as two row that got switched around . It is rather for us to be here consecrate to the great undertaking remaining before us — that from these prestigious dead we take increase devotedness to that cause for which they devote the last full measuring stick of devotedness — that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vein — that this commonwealth , under God , shall have a unexampled parentage of freedom — and that government for the people , by the masses , of the people , shall not parish from the ground .
