According toDeadline , DiDio ’s departure is in effect immediately . Before knead with Jim Lee as DC ’s conscientious objector - publisher , DiDio served as both a VP and executive editor for the society as well as compose issues of a number of serial publication like Superboy , Sideways , andthe ongoingMetal Men . DiDio was also famously one of the architects behindDC ’s monolithic New 52 relaunchthat reshaped the vast legal age of the publishing house ’s prime persistence .
