Next Issue , the “ Netflix of Magazines , ” isavailable todayon the iPad . And that has me thinking a mint about the digital mag format . In general , I love the entire melodic theme of tablet magazines . The ghost UI , the power to carry year worth of takings with me all at once , the exigent downloads , the interactive components , and the deficiency of a paper sight in my bedroom from old progeny that make me look like some sorting of crazy cat woman because I do n’t want to throw them away . I want this to be the future of magazines . I call up .
I say “ I think ” because I have a foul closed book . apart from a few mags I absolutely have to read the day they make it , I tend to blank out about the other magazines because they ’re not piling up in my case , filling me with guilt for buy these things and not take them . And for all the conveniences tablets furnish , casually thumbing through a magazine on your iPad still is n’t quite as occasional as it is with a newspaper written matter . Am I the only one who has an even bigger reserve of magazine reading thanks to the advent of tablets ? Anyone else feel a spot overwhelmed by the prospect of Next Issue ?
