One early iPhone 4 epitome shows edge and angles galore , with sloped corners , and one of the iPad image even has a kickstand . Yes . A kickstand . You ’ve get to see these .
The pictures of these iPhone and iPad prototypes were found in court text file byBuzzFeedandthe Verge . Not all the prototypes were strange though . Some prototypes really look like they ’d be real product .
Above , there ’s an iPod Nano - inspired iPhone 4 prototype made with brushed aluminum and everlasting with rounded corner . Another iPhone image label n90 in reality looks astonishing — impossibly thin ( though thicker in the heart ) and skinny , it bet very much like a delightful candybar . Other prototype look like clone of Apple products you ’d see other company make — inelegant designs that feel forced to be quasi - futurist .
The most fun prototype , however , are the 1 you ’d never remember Apple would even regard making . The iPhone with the sloped turning point looks like a virtu phone with its eight different sides ( including corners ) . The kickstand iPad ? That had to have been a joke to rankle Steve Jobs , right ? Right ?
