Evil Dead RiseCould Be the Bloodiest Entry Yet in One of Horror’s Goriest Franchises

Evil Dead Rise has its world premiere tonight atthe SXSW Film Festivalbeforearriving in theater in April . And while it wo n’t featureBruce Campbell’sAsh Williams , Lee Cronin ’s film will include some other important series characters , like the Book of the Dead , and blood . Lots of blood .

And before you point out that blood is actually not a character , here ’s Cronin , speak to Entertainment Weekly , explaining his full stop of prospect on the issue . “ From very early on , I say , the blood is going to be a grapheme in this movie , and I need it to be able to behave and feed the agency I want it to move .
