We saw the first teaser of X - Men : Days of Future Past just now at San Diego Comic - Con , and it was the most exciting Adam - Men consequence in a decade . Here ’s our bumpy impressions of what we saw . UPDATE : More details add !

Seriously , I hope this footage shows up online shortly , because my verbal description is not going to do it Department of Justice . There was a lot locomote on here . We catch it doubly , so I ’m adding more details from the second observance .
We see a closeup of Patrick Stewart ’s center , and someone ( Stewart ) asks , “ What ’s the last affair you remember ? ” Professor X ( Stewart ) responds , “ I had a coup d’oeil into the past . ”Then Professor X say Wolverine , “ You ’re going to have to do for me what I once did for you . ” We easy zoom out from Professor X ’s aged facial expression , and then we see him with a Cerebro helmet on , and later coming out of the Cerebro chamber .
And this is a dark dystopian future , where the obscure , fetishy costume are looking more marked-up and distress and messed up , and Professor X and Ian McKellen ’s Magneto seem aweary and filled with dread . They ’re in a war chamber in front of a tabular array that show how bad things are buy the farm . Wolverine even has a bit of gray in his facial hair .
We see photoflash of all our favorite mutants , including tempest against a stormy sky , Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde , and some others . And there are futurist - looking mutants , including Omar Sy as Bishop , and some others I could n’t identify wearing striking Mad Max - y war paint .
We learn that Professor X and Magneto have come together “ side by side , to end this war before it ever begins . ”
Wolverine asks , “ So I wake up in my younger body , and then what ? ” Professor X responds , “ Find me , convince me of all this . ” And Magneto chimes in that Wolverine will line up young Magneto a different someone , “ a darker person . ” We arrest glimpses of seventies interpretation of Magneto and Professor X — with a lot more hair and a draw more fire to them . Young Professor X has a crazy whiskers and a seventies groovy outfit with an X - wrought light on his fount , while Young Magneto ( Michael Fassbender ) is waving a gun .
We see Young Professor X blow detritus off a ashen orb .
Back then , Professor X say , “ I was a very different Isle of Man . conduct me , guide me , be patient with me . ” We see Young Professor X place his hand on someone ’s face as he try out to understand . Maybe Wolverine ’s typeface ?
one-time Wolverine responds , “ Patience is n’t my strong suit of clothes . ”
And then downcast glowing hands are gripping Wolverine ’s head , sending him back in time into the consistency of his immature ego .
We get glimpses of other stuff — Young Magneto using his powers to take out a dysphoric Mystique along the trading floor . Young Magneto descending from the air reckon shivery . There is a secret opening under the Oval Office , revealed by the oval spread out up like a trapdoor . And protests in the street , and Bolivar Trask ( Peter Dinklage ) plow a regime hearing . And Richard Nixon depend weird and terrific — and then Mystique walk down the street vary into a man in a pander suit .
There is a LOT of stuff mess up up , and Young Professor X using Magneto , and the Beast attacking , a woman walk by from an airplane , and a military setting . We glimpse Professor X harbour his face from an intense white light , and the Cerebro machine exploding .
Young Professor X read , “ I do n’t need your distress . I do n’t require your future . ”
And then Old Professor X is face to confront with his young ego . He says : “ Please . We need you to hope again . ” It ’s an existent back - tingling moment . Actual goosebumps here .
In the panel , we converge Omar Sy , who told us that Bishop is visiting from the time to come and just trying to survive , like everyone . Also on the panel : Peter Dinklage confirmed he really is playing Bolivar Trask .
And Evan Peters was here , as the Modern Quicksilver . Asked to draw his character , Peters say : “ He ’s very fast . He ’s ready . He ’s a spaz . He talks quick , he moves warm , everybody is very slow compared to him . He ’s always at an ATM waiting for the illegitimate in front of him to terminate . ”
“ He ’s got first-class genes , ” added Michael Fassbender , who plays his Fatherhood , Magneto .
Someone asks what sort of costume Quicksilver will have , and Singer answer : “ It ’ll be a seventies costume . I had raise up as a child in the 1970s and I had forgotten how repulsive some of the wear was back then . ”
Someone enquire if we might get a Deadpool pic , and Bryan Singer would n’t confirm that one will happen — but he did say the XTC - Men universe is as large as the rest of the Marvel universe , and there ’s enough room for a ton of 10 - Men films develop all the different fiber and corners of the universe , building it out .
Someone ask Jackman about musicals , and he say he would never sing as Wolverine . The gang was disappointed , so he give us a taste of what a Wolverine musical would be like : “ I ’m gon na slice up ’em , I ’m gon na cube ’em , ” he let the cat out of the bag operatically .
Someone asked the assembled cast which X - Men fictitious character , other than their own , they would want to play . Patrick Stewart react : “ I would like to play any female character in any ten - Men movie , because then I would have a hazard of gain ground an Academy Award . ” ( Because three of the charwoman in the X - Men have win Oscars . )
Iain McKellen said : “ If I ca n’t represent the younger Magneto , then I would like to grow wing and play Angel . ”
Oh , and in the panel for The Wolverine before we escort this footage , Hugh Jackman gave a shoutout to Wolverine co - Divine Len Wein , who was in the consultation , and it was really nice and awesome .
