Holide HX-2142: World’s Smallest DV? Perhaps World’s Crappiest, Too

This is probably just a piece of junk , but at least it ’s small — the Holide HX-2142 digital television recorder and tv camera is call “ the smallest DV in the humanity . ” No dimension are sacrifice , but judging from the sizing of its USB plug , this is truly tiny and slender camcorder that ’s down to spycam size .

There ’s just 2 MB of onboard retentiveness , but it has an SD / MMC winkle memory board one-armed bandit , so conceivably you could memorialize quite a bit of 12fps TV at 640×480 . The specification say a 64 MB SD card can hold 20 minutes of its video . But hey , it ’s the Earth ’s minuscule DV ! No Holy Writ on what “ DV ” stand for in this instance .

Do n’t have a bun in the oven broadcast quality , but this might be able to give you video as upright as most cellphones are capable of delivering . Yuck . No pricing or handiness were forthcoming , but if it costs more than $ 30 , this must be some sort of jest .
