Autumn Mathas has never seen an episode ofThe Golden Girls, but now it’s all she can talk about.

That’s thanks to her daughter, 20-month-old Evelyn Mae, who recently scored millions of views on her grandmother’s TikTok account@lileviemaewith her fluffy curls reminiscent of 1980s favorites Rose, Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia.

“We were just having fun blowing out Evie’s hair and then boom, we get millions of views,” Mathas, 28, tells PEOPLE. “It just came out of nowhere — I’m still trying to wrap my head around it, it’s so crazy.”

Mathas and her mom Trina King are both Dallas-based hairstylists, and “we cannot help ourselves but to do her hair,” Mathas shares of her little girl. “She was born with quite a bit of it.”

The first video to go viralwas of Evelyn in the salon getting her first haircut, set toThe Golden Girlstheme song “Thank You for Being a Friend.”

“The way babies’ hair grows is almost identical to the same haircut you would do on a Betty White,” Mathas explains. “So that was our inspiration to do the blowout, because I was like, her hair is identical to an older lady’s haircut, let’s see if we can make it into that type of hairstyle. And that’s how it started.”

In recent weeks, King, 52, has continued posting videos of Evelyn rocking her hair at thegrocery storeandhome, wearing sweet floral blouses and stick-on earrings, much to the delight of her more than 68,000 followers.

“Everyone has been really, really amazing,” Mathas says of commenters. “It’s been so wholesome, and we’ve been greeted with nothing but love.”

So will the tot continue channeling the ladies of Miami in videos to come?
